"Kacchan?" Izuku murmurs, stepping towards the bed. The nest has mostly been disassembled, but some of the sheets are bundled and wrapped around Kacchan's half-dozing form. It surrounds him in Izuku's scent and makes him preen.
Kacchan grunts out an acknowledgement, so Izuku continues, "I have to go first, alright? Do you need more scenting?"
"No." Kacchan's voice is grumpy, a bit hoarse and raspy like it always gets after his third orgasm.
"Alright." His hand drops down to play with the soft, spikey hair that peeks from the covers. "You have the room for the rest of the hour."
Before he thinks better of it, he leans down to place a kiss against Kacchan's forehead.
Kacchan's eyes drift close, and the scent of pleased-alpha joins the lingering scent of sex in the air. Izuku smiles to himself and steps away.
Before he backs off fully, though, fingers curl around his wrist and tug him back.
"When are you free next?"

Katsuki just rolls his eyes as he tugs off his jacket and tosses it over the side of the stall. "Yeah, yeah. Back up more, you overgrown heifer."
Deku's tail flicks as he follows the instructions, and Katsuki lays out his supplies. He's meant to be getting a semen sample from his best bull to send off to the vet to make sure Deku was healthy.
Which— he was. Katsuki was the best fuckin' farmhand for every animal at the farm, including the hybrid bull. /Especially/ for the hybrid bull. Deku better fucking appreciate how above and beyond he goes for his freckled ass.

"Back to work?"
Katsuki tilts his head, leaning back against the windowsill. He shifts up onto his toes, just a few inches, and leans in far enough that the smell of him encompasses the entirety of Izuku's head.
Like this, the sun is entirely blocked, light let in only by the glass window. The colors, reds and blues and greens, overlay across Katsuki's face until he's like an oil painting come to life.
Izuku traces the shapeless shapes with his eyes, losing himself between the shadows cast across Katsuki's face and the curve of his lips.
Katsuki calls his attention back by grinning, clicking his tongue, and dropping back on his heels.
"See you around, young master."
Then, Katsuki stalks away.
Izuku doesn't know what to do with himself in the aftermath. Katsuki smells of lemongrass and honey. Sharp and sweet.
Izuku closes the window so that it stays with him a few moments longer.

There's a flicker of recognition in Izuku's eyes when their sights meet, a spark trying to catch on kindling and ignite,
but he can't quite light it yet. The flicker dies, and Izuku turns back to his task with only half of a second glance.

There isn't much Katsuki remembers specifically about the event, truly.
Izuku had willingly given up his eye, so that Katsuki could live. He gave up part of his own vision, his iris greying like a silver coin, and had been so happy when he'd turned to Katsuki, expression bright and open, when it worked.
It took them both by surprise when the curse-giver had returned with a vengeance, when sharp fingers had plunged into Izuku's face. Those fingers had sliced through Izuku's battle-hardened skin and bones like it was soft river water parted by a departing boat.

It wasn’t a major life event that did it, nothing tragic or insurmountable. Kaminari and Midoriya had, of course, noticed how Bakugou’s behavior shifted from pissy to touchy, how he avoided others more than usual, even dodging those he could normally tolerate. It was nothing new, nothing to be concerned about. Emotional constipation was pretty much part of the deal. They let him be, let him release his frustration on his own, bury himself in work.
So it’s just the two of them sitting on Kaminari’s couch that afternoon, watching something stupid on Netflix while they cuddle and hold hands. They shift into touching, caressing each other, kissing ears and nibbling on lips, but don’t go further. There’s no rush. They get to be lazy. Kaminari pets Midoriya’s hair, episode after episode, and they would have stayed like this if Bakugou hadn’t kicked open the door.
His face is a mess, his lips curled and his eyes dotted with tears. Both Midoriya and Kaminari sit up straight immediately, part and make room for him.
“What’s wrong, Kacchan?” Kaminari says, giving Bakugou space.
“It’s nothing,” he says, stupidly. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
