“Heads up, someone’s coming down from pedes to take a look at our baby Jane Doe.” Dana says, phone tucked between her ear and shoulder. Robby feels his entire body stiffen.
“Oh?” He says, trying to go for casual as he leans up against the desk. He looks up at the glowing board above the two of them, scanning for his patients. “Do we know who?”
Dana levels a look at him as she hangs up the phone, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“The one and only.” She glances over at the black thermos sitting innocently next to them, a bright yellow sticker faded with some age, corners curling, with bold letters saying ‘good job’.
“Ah. Right.”

Robby frowned, shaking his head.
"What about you and Victoria?" He asked, and as the words left his mouth, he finally realised what was going on. "Oh my God."
---McKay wants to talk to Robby about the inappropriate feelings she has towards a med student under her care, not knowing that Robby is dealing with the exact same problem of his own. To make it worse, neither of them know that Dennis and Victoria are working together to make them snap.

Dennis still has a couple hours on this shift, though. He has to get it together. He would never say it out loud, but there’s been a lull in the steady flow of patients coming in to the ED, and as he makes his rounds, checking on his patients, he sees the opportunity to take a breather.
Meaning, of course: he goes to see the baby in pedes.
