Well, not for the screaming people trapped in the collapsed building. Their day probably sucked. For me, it was exactly what I needed.

Summary
A Murderbot and ART rescue mission from the point of view of the clueless human being rescued.
Hailig is a girl out of time, literally. As the sole survivor of a ship trapped in a wormhole she thought she would be trapped on her rotting lifeboat permanently. She doesn’t know how long it’s been. Time gets a bit relative in wormholes. But she keeps things positive. Sure the oxygen is somewhat unreliable, the engines are turning the ship into a giant slow cooker and the capricious gravity system is barely keeping her feet on the ground but there’s no need to be a downer about it.
She was keeping it all together until her whole world was pried free of its endless wormhole road trip. Out of the blue, she’s thrown head-first into a new world of AI, corporate warfare and part human, part bot construct security specialists. And the only-kind-of-evil companies she once knew have turned much more deadly. Lucky for her though she’ll have some help getting out alive.
