Summary

Summary
“And our informant?” Other than the three of them and the boy, who is now staring back, Bond doesn’t see anyone else in the shop.
The man pauses. “What do you two know about Uroboros?”
The sudden change of subject pulls Bond away from the staring contest he's having with the kid. “Not much to be honest. Based on the report it's mostly just rumors. Something about visions of a doomsday project.”
“Doomsday sounds about right.”
“And it is far from rumor 007.” A small accented voice interrupts their conversation and all three turn back to the boy. “You would know that if you actually finished reading my report instead of skimming it. But I suppose that’s too much to ask for from a field agent isn’t it.”
It's then that the Double 0 sees it. Twirling in between small fingers, is a glittery green pen.
“You’ve got to be shitting me.”

Heat swelters up in her cheeks. “Your plan would have resulted in the same, Paon!”

Ladybug stomps up to him. “And if we wouldn’t have wasted time and just did Pathfinder in the beginning—”
“Guys!” Chat loudly calls, getting both of them to snap ‘what’ in his direction. He offers a shit-eating, his tail swishing. “What if we just… Follow the pigeons?”

Ladybug and Chat Noir are both the heroes of Paris but Ladybug can only transform in the day and Chat Noir only in the night so they’ve never met each other (and their kwamis are a part of the jewelry for now, at least). There isn’t a villain as of yet in this AU so they mostly handle helping out the police and keeping watch over the city in general.

After a fight in Mementos once, Morgana had asked Akira if he'd always been this angry. It wasn't an insult; if anything, he heard admiration in their voice. He told them no. It was the truth. Growing up, he hadn't had any reason to be angry. His home life was fine, his grades were fine, he was social. He'd never caused trouble, never had an outburst. When they came for him, it didn't matter. His day in court was the first time he ever clenched his fists so hard that his palms started to bleed where his nails made contact, and all he can remember thinking was that he didn't realize that could happen in real life.
