Summary
Loki looks down and Mobius sees his throat move as he swallows around the pain of what he has to stay. “I need to go now.”
Mobius tightens his grip on Loki’s forearms, wants to rail against it, to refuse to let him go. But he knows he can’t. Or he could, but it would make no difference. Loki has to do this and is committed to, that is clear from every line of him: resolve and resignation in equal parts.
So instead, Mobius wraps Loki in his arms once more, this less crushing embrace and more holding hug, and says, “Just come back.”
Loki squeezes him once, whispers, “I will,” close to his ear, and then he’s gone, Mobius left holding onto nothing.
A year's worth of time passes before Mobius sees Loki again.

Summary
Blake lays down beside her and chuckles, self-conscious at her own bold kiss. “Sorry, that was a bit much.”
“It’s okay," Yang mumbles. "It’s just new, that’s all.”
The silence stretches for an eternity, and Yang's just about ready to accept that Blake's fallen asleep, until she feels a tender hand slide into her own. Warm fingers intertwine and squeeze, reassurance bleeding through with the action.
“I know you're trying to cheer me up, but this is supposed to be about you. We’re gonna get through this. I promise.”
Yang swallows thickly, humming in agreement, wishing it to be true.
(Yang was sure that she was free from Kilg%re's influence. But between tackling a group that threatens Vacuo’s fragile peace and her new relationship with Blake, a certain AI makes his presence known.)

He scrubbed his face roughly before picking up the damn phone, repairing the screen, and hanging up properly.
Aziraphale’s contact picture stared silently back at him, almost smug.
“Shut up,” Crowley told it.
He debated just deleting the contact, getting rid of it entirely so it couldn’t hurt him, but he couldn’t find it in himself to actually do so. Call it another fit of weakness, he didn’t care anymore— he just couldn’t bear to get rid of the oldest and only contact he ever bothered storing in his phone.

Crowley picks up a habit of calling the shop phone just to hear the recording of Aziraphale’s voice and leaves messages on the ansaphone. Aziraphale, stuck up in heaven, accidentally receives his messages and sneaks away for a much needed reunion.Bookmarked by Bee7608
