“Consider this a test.” Louis had responded. “In order for you to prove your loyalty to me... I ask that you infiltrate this soiree, and execute the one in charge.”
Or; Louis asks Fidelio to prove his loyalty to him... by killing someone.

In the moments after Will tears his heart out to stop Louis's curse, as he's bleeding out, alone and dying, More gives him an offer: reject the world he's always known in favor of the world of his book, his perfect utopia. Live there, or return to reality, and die.
Will chooses to die.
Unfortunately for both of them, that perfect, utopian reality exists, in Maruki's Tokyo of 2017. And once the offer is made, it's not that easy to avoid being sucked into his world.
