The wind swayed Tommy side to side as he stood atop a dangerously tall tower. He gazed down at the land he once called his ‘home’, at this rate, it couldn't even be called a home, it was scattered with holes. He had nothing. He was nothing, so why bother? Right?
Tommy took a deep breath, staring at the ground. It called to him, and so did the edge of the tower.
With one last breath.
Tommy fell.
Or, what if Tommy did die when he jumped off his tower?

Yet another God AU. Tommy is the God of the Overworld who's been exiled from the land of the gods for being too attached to humanity. His exile has long been lifted, as has the rules that exiled him in the first place, but he's too scared to bring it up to his friends on the Dream SMP. It's only when he accidentally gets Tubbo to worship him, that things begin to change. This is a story of healing.

“You know we can’t have this.” Techno rubs his thumbs over the inside of Tommy’s wrists. “We can’t have you smoking. You know the rules.”
“Tech,” he chokes out.
Phil swims around from behind him to stand beside Wilbur.
“We can help, Toms,” he coos, “You know we want to help you. You’re sick, we can help.”
The empty feeling in his chest burrows right down to his stomach and makes itself at home. Phil leans down and cups Tommy’s face.
“But we really can’t have it happening again.”

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
