Jake struggles against the cuffs but doesn’t get anywhere. This shouldn’t unsettle him as much as it does. He came here willingly, after all, he knew what he was getting into.
“Fike…Sean Fike?”, he asks, and the man nods, giving him a grin that shows off his fangs, almost like a warning.

Quaritch keeps his promise to bring Jake back to the boys at base. And Jake doesn't know whether he should be scared or excited.
