“I see where I’ve failed,” Judge says, turning his back to them. “All of you, bested by the Failure. I’ve spent the past week agonizing over how it was possible — you are marvels of genetic engineering, and the decades of work I've poured into you four have amounted to nothing.”
The room was silent; the four of them knowing Judge wants silence from them, and speaking would just anger him further, if even possible.
”Then, it occurred to me,” Judge continues, turning around to face them once more. Reiju swallows, suddenly nervous. “You don’t care. It doesn’t matter how many times I beat the failure out of you, you have no desire to better yourselves. In a way it's my fault — I gave you four everything you have, none of it earned.”The events of Whole Cake Island make Vinsmoke Judge reconsider the success of his experiments, Reiju wishes she could return to the version of herself before her reunion with Sanji, and the Vinsmoke brothers can’t care about any of it (yet).

Zoro, strongest alpha in the school, is dating Sanji, the most beautiful and skilled omega in the school and no, he wasn't biased. Fuck off.
And what comes with dating such an omega? His three twin brothers that, with Sanji, make up the Quadruplet Princes of the school. Two alphas, two omegas, a tight-knit pack since literal conception and stupidly overprotective of each other. Which made oh-so-fun a time for Zoro... case in point:
"You want my brother to be subjected to gas station quality products?! God, they probably have stuffed alligators in there!"
"Sanji, tell your boyfriend that we are of a higher caliber than all in one shampoo!"
"I've tried, the moss on his head clearly has migrated to his ears. Ah-! Look, LOOK! Zoro, the gas pumps aren't even functioning! You expect us to be within ten feet of such a dump while Ichiji is in heat?!"
"UGH, I won't even have the dignity of being mated by a TRUCKER, it'll be a drug dealer at best."

However, when a newspaper reporting Vinsmoke Judge's death is delivered along with a letter from Reiju, Sanji finds himself face to face once more with his past.
Despite the conflict in his heart with the reminder of his brothers, and the fear inside of him that Germa’s influence still runs through them, he knows he can’t just abandon them.
With his mother in mind, he sets out to rescue them. Both from new enemies, and the lingering influence of their father.

It had been the perfect plan.
Had.
But Corazon, or Donquixote Rosinante, whatever the hell he was calling himself nowadays, was doomed to a never ending revolving door of plans not going his way- not to mention accidentally adopting a small army of traumatized kids.
Or, a fix-it fic where the author keeps throwing kids at this poor 10' fire hazard until they all develop a healthier relationship with family, or the ship they're on sinks. Whichever comes first.
