Summary
Ilya Rozanov should be the happiest man on Earth right now. He should be floating on clouds, but why does it feel like he's on a free fall to the ground?
He's got everything he's ever dreamed of: his handsome, polite, sexy, hockey's golden boy boyfriend, future in-laws who love him like their own, and a team who desperately want to be his friends. He can't wait to play great hockey, retire with his boyfriend, and marry him. Maybe they'll even have kids of their own. Spend their days at the cottage wrapped in love and sunshine for the rest of their lives.
Yet, the only dream that he remembers, the one that haunts him daily, is the one of his mother. His mother's pale arms reach out to him. Her embrace was colder than any lonely night. One day, maybe he'll just hug her back.

Summary
A collection of moments from Neil's second winter with the foxes, and his attempts to process his trauma.
Or five times the foxes showed Neil genuine affection, and the one time it finally broke him.“You’re not staying over break are you Neil?” Dan asked, as if he had anywhere else to go. There was nowhere left for him outside of Palmetto.
Neil fiddled with the zipper of his jacket, sliding the tab up and down the chain, “I’ll go wherever Andrew’s going.” He hadn’t meant for it to sound so sentimental but Dan’s soft awe caught him off guard. He looked over at Allison who was rolling her eyes, now reclined on the other side of the bed. His fingers tripped over the zipper and he realized with a start that his face had begun to flush.
“I won't tell Nicky you said that if you let me paint your nails.” Allison offered snarkily, smirking at him again.
Dan scoffed and started out of the room, “I’m gonna heat up dinner, are you staying Neil?” She looked back briefly for his response. He nodded before turning back to Allison, “I don’t care what you tell Nicky.” He told her, and it was only half a lie.

Summary
Previously posted under username signofthree. This post-IW fic was written pre-IW, so it is pure speculation based on the trailers. And now, I suppose, a slight AU.
It’s been months since the Avengers defeated Thanos, and Peter’s doing fine. Really. Okay, so he has like, ten times as many villains to fight lately (and what is up with their costumes?). And sure, Tony has barely spoken to him since they got back. And, yeah, the whole coming back from the dead thing is a mind trip. But he’s dealing with it. All things considered, he’s doing a pretty good job of it too.
With everything else that’s going on, a bruise seems like such a little thing that Peter doesn’t pay it any attention, even when it doesn’t fade nearly as fast as it should. It’s just a bruise. It’s no big deal.
Enter an alien virus, throw in some Dr. Strange, inter-dimensional note passing, and a very, very angry Tony Stark, and suddenly it’s not such a little deal anymore.
It’s always the little things, isn’t it?

Peter, meanwhile, is trying to piece together who he was. What doesn't help is the big secret he's sure Tony is keeping from him, or the way the man is avoiding him.
Nobody notices how the missing month is catching up to them until everything goes wrong.

Summary
Buck doesn’t think that if he were to say, “I’m in a bad place”, that anyone would turn him away. Really, he doesn’t. The 118 has too many good, kind people for that.
But every time he wants to open his mouth, to say something, to reach out to Eddie or Bobby or Hen or Chim, he hears Eddie yelling, “you’re exhausting.”
—you’re exhausting, you’re exhausting, you’re exhausting—
So each day he does his job and he laughs and he jokes and he pretends he’s the care-free goofball he’s always been. And each day he packs away his bruises and his worries, takes them home to his empty loft with its quiet rooms, and licks his wounds in silence.
