Summary
Darcy was always surprised by how unobservant the Crown Princess of Dyamond could be. She was cold, detached, aloof, exactly what Darcy expected from a high ranking member of a royal court, an attitude that Darcy knew was all that separated herself and Princess Icabelle from the other snotty rich brats that made up Ms Malicent’s School for Gifted Girls (Magix, MD). And yet Icabelle could be terribly absent-minded, unaware of the things and, more importantly, the people she passed by, Darcy reflected as she and her roommate headed towards the common room for Egerya Hall after classes had finished for the day.
She hadn’t once noticed the scrawny second year that had been tailing them for two weeks without Darcy drawing her attention to it first. Clearly she wasn’t looking to break that record.
It was lucky, thought Darcy, that Dyamond had been ravaged by the Shaman Witch and the Legion of Witch Hunters. A Royal Court would eat Icy alive.

Summary
Trouble always came after a fall.
Not for the heroes, never for the heroes who can only ever wallow and waver and weaken before forces less-than-virtuous. Heroes have moments of Doubt which excuses any actions they make that might not quite fit their knights in glittering miniskirts look, but – at the end of the day, when dawn breaks with the storm – they always overcome. Their fears, their uncertainties, the Doubt and with it, their foes.
No, the Winx were infallible and everybody knew that falling was an act reserved for only the truly Wicked: the one-dimensional cartoon villains who do nefarious deeds in pursuit of nefarious ends for reasons that only their uniquely nefarious minds could comprehend. The villains were not misguided students pushed towards peddling pro-witch propaganda, just as much as they could not be promising young women with a bright future ahead of them. They are Evil Witches and, like all Evil Witches, deserve no sympathy.
They are the Trix and they were made to fall.

Summary
Zoey and Mira are at the end of their rope waiting for Celine to finally track down this third and final member of their hunting trio before they can make their debuts as idols and start to actually be effective against the forces of evil in their world. They decide to blow off some steam at a club in the city but run into trouble when they come toe to toe with a demon unlike any they'd faced before.
She's strong and clearly very powerful, but when they draw their weapons, she does something no other demon has when faced with the opportunity to try and take down the legendary demon hunters.
She runs away.
