Summary
Keith gets bits by a love bug and falls for Lance. Allura gets bit and falls for Hunk. The only problem is that Keith already has a real, overwhelming crush on Lance, so he decides to only do what Allura does so he doesn't give himself away. A plan that rapidly falls apart.

There were bad days, but Peter always powered through them to get to the good.
They burned the remains of the Black Spider suit, and he burned the remains of that person in his soul.
The Black Spider may have existed once, but he didn’t anymore. He was buried at the bottom of a HYDRA base with the Scarlet Spider, with all the bad things he’d done and all the blood that soaked his hands.
Peter was just trying to clean them. He was just searching for the shade of his skin through all the red. He’d get there one day.

“What? No! I’m--I’m not your subconscious, I’m your--” Keith starts, but he slams his lips together in a tight lock, then looks at the waves, while Lance sits up taller and leans in closer to him.
“My what?”
“Just--!” Keith starts, getting frustrated and pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m real, okay? We’re not--this isn’t--we’re having a shared dream.”
Lance never thought he had a soulmate, but when he finds himself dreaming about a boy on Varadero Beach and in a southwestern desert, he learns they have an incredibly rare soul link–-one that allows them to form an unusually strong bond before they meet, but also exposes their greatest vulnerabilities to each other.

Keith hasn’t seen Lance in months. He hasn’t spoken to Lance in months.
So the universe working in mysterious ways to remind Keith of Lance’s voice, appearance, essence, light, is some sort of bittersweet, fucked up thing to do. And to do it in front of his mom? Shameless.
Keith’s stuck in the Quantum Abyss with this woman who turns out to be his mom. With each flashback shown, they grow closer together, but Keith’s still avoiding the topics he’s most afraid of. Flashbacks of Lance only make it harder.

It jolts him awake, and all at once, he realizes what he’s doing. What he’s done.His first instinct is to pull away, he knows that he should pull away… but he doesn’t. Instead, he hesitates, obliging the small part of himself that doesn’t want to let go, whether he likes it or not. It has him lingering in the moment for just a second too long.
He hadn’t meant for this to happen.

“Uh…” Keith has no idea what the fuck is going on right now and he knows that his eyebrows are furrowed in a way that always makes Shiro laugh, but he can’t help it. What is happening.
Bakery Guy shoots a ray of pure sunlight out of his face directly into Keith’s eyes with his smile and tries again, “We don’t always sell everything pastry and bread wise, so I try to hook up the other vendors with some treats before we take everything to the women’s shelter downtown. Do you want anything?”
