Summary
Connor didn’t like seeing him like this. Having moved in with the Lieutenant for the sake of convenience, he witnessed a lot more of his everyday life, and therefore a lot of the little frustrations he went through each day. Anderson was easily irritated. Connor was in no danger of having this irritation taken out on him, and there was a very low risk of Anderson taking it out on himself, but something about this sort of behaviour made Connor uneasy. This was unlikely to have an effect on the case they were currently working on, because as easily as Anderson was riled up, he was distracted again with equal effortlessness, and yet. For no reason he could pin down, Connor didn’t like this.
So, he rolled up his sleeve and offered.
“The fuck do you want?” was Anderson’s response, having only taken his eyes off the road for a split second. But then, in the brief moment that Connor thought of what to say, he seemed to process what he had seen. “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
“If you are comfortable trusting me with your password, I can connect to the car in your phone’s stead."

Summary
“Lieutenant?” Connor asks. His voice, at least, sounds closer to normal. Subdued, sure, but nothing like I’m okay or I felt it die.
“You look like shit,” Hank repeats. Because it’s easier than trying to address the obvious trauma the deviant-hunting android beside him is trying to process.
Connor is traumatized by the death of Simon at the Tower. And, Hank? Hank has a long-overdue epiphany.

“The fffff-uck did you do to me, plastic?” Gavin shouted, strong and furious as ever.
Hank and Connor’s heads turned at the sight of Gavin brushing himself off. His stubble was neatly tamed, complimenting the shining grey of the android uniform draped around his shoulders. The scar on his nose was gone.
“Holy shit.” Hank mouthed, looking him over. “Reed’s an android.”

Kamski goes missing, Hank, Connor, and Gavin are sent to investigate. None of them expected they’d soon go missing themselves.
When they wake up, everything they know has changed. Connor’s human, the humans are androids, and worse? The android revolution never happened. Pretty soon, they all get a taste of what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes.

Summary
A million statements, questions, and apologies beg to be voiced. He wants to tell Connor how overjoyed he is to see his dorky face. He wants to ask what possessed the android to find Hank after all the shit he put him through. He wants to say how unimaginably sorry he is, fall down to his knees and shake his clasped hands in a shameful bid for forgiveness.
