Summary
Dr. Samantha Carter (Point Of View) moves on with her life back in her own reality with the help of a friend. Another Jack steps through the Quantum Mirror, and this Jack has nowhere else he would rather be than with her. Slow Burn fake marriage fic. S/J Tag for visibility, but this is all about the alternates. Rating for darker adult themes.
“Avert your eyes, Jacob,” Jack suggested as he slid his hand downward to Sam’s hip and tugged, shifting her easily onto his lap. To her credit, she only looked shocked instead of uncomfortable.
“I’ll let it slide this time, but only because I know you love her,” Jacob dismissed.
“Yes, Sir, I do,” Jack added, and with a flash of Sam’s blue eyes, he wondered if he had said too much. The truth was that he did love her. Not some other version of her, but her. He loved this Sam who hurt and cried and missed the husband she loved. Maybe that’s why he had sounded so convincing. Maybe that was why she looked frightened.

Summary
During Affinity: Before General O'Neill finds Carter working past midnight in her lab and gives her the third degree about what she's hiding from him, he tries a couple of more subtle approaches to no avail.
“It’s Daniel,” Jack pivoted, flicking his pen between two fingers and needing to get to the bottom of her odd behavior.
“Daniel?”
“Yeah. Has he seemed a little weird to you? More so than usual, I mean.” Sharply, he watched her reactions for any sign that she might realize this discussion wasn’t going to really be about Daniel.
“In what way?” Carter leaned forward, concerned and attentive.
“Is he avoiding me? Because for seven years, I tried to get that boy to shut up to no avail, but now, all of the sudden he’s MIA. Crickets.”

Summary
Sam gets a surprise visit. I really wanted this to be at least a little angsty, but they weren't having anything to do with my plans.
“Wear whatever you want, Sam,” he instructed roughly. “I won’t be looking at the dress.”
Sam inhaled, attempting to draw breath back into her lungs. Jack wasn’t a romantic kind of guy. After witnessing eight years of his practical, logical approach to the world, she had gone into their relationship with her eyes wide open. But sometimes, his rough, direct approach did more for her than any sonnet ever could. It was him, and for better or worse, he was who she wanted, roughness and all.

I'm not a poet, but here's a mildly rhythmic smattering of words that popped into my fron from the prompt: "Stranded." Major angst alert.

Summary
Just as is titled. A series of writing prompts, mostly objects and self-imposed things I’ve done as exercises, but I’ll take requests too.
Probably short works, but you never know when a prompt will take on a life of its own.
Likely a lot of Sam/Jack, but not entirely. Don’t take this seriously. It’s just a bit of fun.

Summary
The guards look at each other, and then at Janet, who shrugs. They loosen their grip on their weapons and ease their stance. Sam takes them in. It wasn’t hard to push past these guards, and it probably wouldn’t be hard to push past a few more.

Summary
A routine mission of exploration turns dangerous for SG-1 with the discovery of some mysterious artifacts. When Jack and Daniel are taken hostage, it’s up to Sam and Teal’c to find them and assist a people suddenly stricken by disaster.
This is a team-oriented, “mission that turns into more than SG-1 bargained for” kind of story. Takes place in season 5 sometime after Beast of Burden but before Menace.

Summary
After a difficult mission that leaves him grappling with past trauma, Colonel Jack O'Neill is ordered to undergo therapy with Dr. Samantha Carter, a brilliant yet detached psychiatrist in Washington, D.C. Initially, Jack resents the sessions, viewing Dr. Carter’s calm and analytical approach as an intrusion into his carefully guarded life. Meanwhile, Sam sees Jack as just another challenging case—until their sessions begin to chip away at both of their defenses.
What starts as a reluctant professional relationship soon becomes complicated as Jack’s scars and Sam’s hidden vulnerabilities come to the surface. Both haunted by personal losses and unspoken pain, they find themselves navigating a complex connection neither anticipated. Through mutual frustration, moments of unexpected openness, and a few surprising detours outside the office, Jack and Sam begin to confront the walls they've built—and the possibility of healing.
Will they be able to overcome their inner battles and find solace in each other, or are some wounds too deep to heal?- Language:

Summary
Margaret and Mr. Thornton gradually get to know each other better. With conversation, balls, politics, and Fanny.
This is a WIP. Posting is part of my current attempt to finish it, but I truly don't know whether I will. My failures in this regard are neither due to lack of trying, nor to a lack of people asking. I'm sorry. Please don't read if you can't stand for it to remain incomplete. I'll be posting a chapter a week for a while as I try to write ahead and finish the story. Thank you.
