What if, after years of yearning, canon Castiel was dropped into an alternate universe, where their Dean is openly, happily bisexual?
"Oh, no, no, I have something better, a creature from distant lands, a worthy prize for you and your crew,” burbles the captain, picking up the pace.
A creature, huh? Dean groans internally. They do sometimes get offered some exotic animal or other, usually a parrot, lizard, or monkey. Always means at least a two day journey to set the poor thing free. Once, it was just a kitten. Now it spends its days lazing on deck, eating through their supply of fish, and hissing at Dean.
He hopes it’s not another fucking kitten.
They draw to a stop outside the captain’s bunk, and he throws the door open.
That’s not a kitten.
