The walls of the archive were quiet, strangely quiet. When Caelus stepped foot inside the room, usually a faint buzzing sound would hum in the background. But when he entered the archives room today, he heard no buzz and also, no Dan heng.
No matter where he looked, said man was nowhere to be found. Now that’s weird, usually, Dan Heng would be at the archives, burying himself away in the database.
As he walked closer to the railings, he heard a rustle. And underneath the blanket on the mattress, slide out a tiny turquoise-colored dragon.
Caelus gaped at the sight, did his friend just turn into a dragon???
