“So you mean…" Remus starts. "You said… if we continue this. So you still… want to?”
Sirius gives a breathy laugh. “Yes, Remus, of course I do.”
“Oh,” Remus whispers. He closes his eyes. Reopens them.
“Would you like that?” Sirius asks him, and Remus doesn’t have to think about it all.
“Yes,” he says emphatically. Sirius leans forward, kisses him deep and sure.
“Wonderful,” he murmurs against Remus’ lips. “I think we’re going to be great together, darling.”

Summary
“So get married,” Sirius says calmly, his scent giving absolutely nothing away as he turns towards him and stretches his arm out along the top of the sofa, arching a brow when Remus just gapes at him.
“To fucking who?” he asks, giving him a baffled look as he throws his hands up in the air. “Am I supposed to track down the man who knocked me up, whose name and appearance I don’t know, and ask if he wants a husband? Take out an advertisement in the Prophet, perhaps?”
Sirius gives him a flat look, tonguing the inside of his cheek before he looks away, eyes focusing on the wall next to the fireplace. “You could marry me.”
When Remus finds himself pregnant after a one night stand he knows that he won't be able to keep his baby, no matter how much he wants them, due to the Ministry's draconian laws against werewolves. Luckily, his best friend has a solution...

Summary
After breakfast, Sirius walked to the door of their flat where a bag was already waiting for him. It was Halloween, and as Sirius lifted the bag, Remus was suddenly reminded of Halloween feasts at Hogwarts, in all of their candles and lights and splendor. This was the opposite: grey, opaque and terribly lonely.
“Tell James and Lily I love them,” Remus said. “Harry, too.”
Sirius hefted the bag to his shoulder. “I will.”
Remus leaned in to kiss Sirius, a gentle brushing of lips. Sirius’ lips were cold. “I love you, Padfoot,” he said when he pulled back.
“Good luck, Moony,” Sirius said softly. Then he opened the door and disappeared through it.

Sirius remains the Potters' Secret Keeper, but it's Remus Lupin who changes the course of the war.
