Summary
Penelope Jackson is the reincarnation of Penelope of Ithaca. Who is in turn, the reincarnation of Hyacinthus.
Both of these reincarnations had utterly obsessive boyfriends who would do anything for her. And they've both followed her into the modern age. What is a girl to do?Odysseus was enjoying his time in Elysium with his wife, when the Fates kidnapped Penelope. What else could he do but follow? And if the Greek world has utterly deteriorated in modern times, well he can fix that. But wooing Penelope a second time is much harder. What is a man to do?
Apollo lost the love of his life long ago. Twice. He has always honoured her choices, but this is his last chance to be with her. Unfortunately his competition refuses to give up, and is just as determined as he is. On top of that, convincing Poseidon he should be allowed around his daughter with his track record in lovers is a Herculean task. What is a god to do?

Penelope Jackson thought that the weirdest thing that would ever happen to her was being able to stay in the same school for two years in a row. (But she held out hope). Then the Greek Gods got involved in her life, (or had they always been involved?) and suddenly she was being sent on death defying adventures at the drop of a hat, (or the theft of a lightning bolt).
