Summary
The Clone Wars have raged across the galaxy for six months when Commander Fox disappears under mysterious circumstances. This is the tale of those left behind as they attempt to unpick what happened while surviving the treacherous currents of Coruscant society.
Warning! This is the first of two parts and while the end goal is angst with a happy ending, this first half is just angst.

Summary
Gandalf arrives late to the ‘negotiations’ between Thorin, Thranduil and Bard at the gates of Erebor. Events take a different course and Thorin must face the consequences of his actions for the rest of his life (however long or short that may be).
Probably going to be Thorin/Bilbo – I have never written about romantic relationships but Thorin is very obviously smitten (need I say more than Mithril shirt?) and film Thorin is maybe even more so.
This story will take it’s pick of aspects from the book, the films and fanon because I don’t remember enough details from the book (it’s been about a decade since I’ve read it!) but I am not a big fan of certain decisions made in the films. -

Summary
Fun fact: some spiders have what is known as book lungs which are made up of folds that contain blood and air pockets for gas exchange. Book lungs evolved separately from our lungs and no motion of the folds is required for respiration (ie no breathing movements).
Not so fun fact: Peter has picked up a bunch of spider traits from a bite from some sort of mutant spider - and they go deeper than the surfaceThis is a peter was more spider than you thought story (you know the type).
I read a fair bit about spider anatomy last summer (for purposes unrelated to this fic) which gave me the idea for this! -

Summary
By an old Republic law, all members of the Jedi High Council are senators in the Galactic Senate, and can thus be voted in as chancellor. A Senator from a less prominent planet has had enough of Chancellor Palpatine's incompetence and calls for a Vote of No-Confidence and the installation of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
This one action becomes the catalyst that changes the direction of the galaxy.

Summary
It didn't really take much to convince the Vode to rebel against the Kaminoans.
And it was only a little more effort for them to organise themselves into a government that would be accepted by the Republic.
Convincing the newly crowned King Cody to take a Jedi spouse was a different story. However, sometimes you needed to bit the blaster fire and invoke centuries old laws to ensure that the Senate won't stab you and the four million warriors you are responsible for in the back.
Poor Obi-Wan Kenobi just so happens to be unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire.

“I’m gonna give you one chance to get out of here,” Ichigo warns them, voice low and even, heart beating a steady and calm rhythm in his chest.
He feels like he can breathe again.
“You’re gonna fuckin' regret that,” one of the thugs snarls, a knife flashing in his hand too.
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Ichigo shrugs.
The thug scoffs and seven of his friends laugh even as the eighth continues to whimper over his destroyed arm.
Ichigo smiles.
