Ren’s hand is on his shoulder, suddenly, his body glued to Kakashi’s chest as he slowly lays him down into his grave, and then there’s Minato-sensei at his side, burying the boy with him. He looks at his dead sensei, and sees Obito’s eyes staring back at him, spinning red and bleeding. Someone is playing a guitar.
I can’t do this anymore.
(Or: ANBU are used to murder. But when Kakashi is tasked with delivering an untimely death to a child, he leaves with blood on his hands, and a guitar on his back.)

“Someone beat us here,” he realized out loud.
A tense silence fell over them. “What makes you say that?”
“Wait, I see it now,” Four gestured to the blocks pushed against the wall. “This puzzle has already been solved.”
It was far from the first time this had happened to them. More often than not, they would hear tales of monster camps and dungeons only to find the places cleared out by the time they got there. And while it was nice to see that the world could manage without heroes doing everything, something wasn’t right. If the people of the era didn’t know it was dealt with…then that implied that someone else was responsible.

Summary
Legend wasn’t sure why he even bothered trying to mind his own business anymore. It had never once stopped trouble from finding him, whether on a cosmic scale or a personal one. No amount of closing his eyes and leaning back against a tree, hands folded in his lap and trying to ignore the squabbling of his allies not too far away, would ever net him any peace. Not even when he was so obviously trying to rest, when he clearly didn't need to be bothered whatsoever, because, inevitably, someone would always come to pester him.
This time it was Twilight.
