Summary
Viktor is an ancient Fae deity who has been protecting Jayce's family for generations. With the death of Jayce’s grandma, he has been chosen to be the next Devotee to Viktor, bringing a weekly care package of mysterious goods to the antique shop the Fae resides in downtown. Viktor’s shop is never open, his mom says, and he never answers the door. But the first day Jayce comes to drop off the goods, he is invited inside.

All things considered; the pitfall had technically served its intended purpose. That came as no surprise to Viktor. Rarely did he ever construct a trap that didn’t do exactly what he’d built it to do.
