This story follows Alador and Darius, if they had never been separated.
Alador manages to escape a life marked by abuse, but his freedom comes at a price. Forced to abandon his name, he adopts a new identity as Mr. Deamonne and second leader of the abomination coven, while concealing his face behind a mask.
Darius, who once dreamed of this future, is forced to uncover the blood staining the palace walls after losing his mentor, Belos's brother, the Golden Guard. Alongside his husband and Eberwolf, he will lead the first conspiracy against the Emperor's throne.
Alador's past will return to reclaim what he left behind, dragging with it a fire that threatens to destroy everything he loves.
