Summary
In the 2010s the greatest minds of mankind determined that humanity in it's current incarnation is doomed. In 2076 David Martinez chips in his first piece of chrome, a prototype milspec Sandevistan. Or is it? David will have to cope with the reality that he is indeed built different. He just didn't realize just how different he is.
A fic spawned from a single question. What would it take for David to go toe-to-toe with a borg and come out on top?
Will continue into 2077 and beyond. Slight crossover with Warhammer 40,000 and other properties mostly as inspiration.

Summary
The corporate car targeted during the accident that killed David's mother had been smuggling something, the engram of the most famous terrorist in Night City history, the rebel rocker boy Johnny Silverhand, hidden alongside some skill chips and other mundane things. After retracing his steps following the attack David would find a small pod gleaming under the overpass where they had crashed. In an act of desperation to find something of value to potentially help save his mother David would open it and change his path forever.

Summary
Reconstruction is well under way after the massive destruction caused by the Quincy invasion. Byakuya Kuchiki is secretly hopeful for the future and all the changes he can foresee happening with a new King on the throne.
However, there are still huge day-to-day repercussions from the events of the war. Everyone was affected; even those who weren't known to be able to feel anything. His fellow captain of the 11th division is even more of a disgrace to his rank, drinking all day long or staring absently at everyone with no drive or care in the world. No one has dared confront the madman, especially with his newfound Shikai... Well, he is a Kuchiki and it is his duty. Kenpachi seems so out of it, he doubts he could be a threat to him. It's just too bad he is the only one that has the guts to shake him out of his turpor.... and why is the guy almost naked everytime he sees him...
