There was a solid six months where he was almost always on the phone or in Jonathan’s bedroom, flipping his fucking hair around and drawling translate this for me, Byers. What’s our friend Robert Smith saying?
Jonathan has tried throwing rocks at him, metaphorically speaking; he’s been mean and he’s been honest; he’s left the most pessimistic parts of himself in charge.
And somehow, despite it all, Steve is still here.

Jonathan takes a step back, like he hadn’t expected the door to actually open. Hopper glances up for a car or a parent, but doesn’t find either.
“Is someone hurt?” Hopper asks, words still slurring a little with bourbon and sleep.
The boy shakes his head slowly, looking a little unsure of it himself. God, he looks like shit, actually. His eyes are red and bloodshot. He’s panting. Hopper’s eyebrows crease.
“We need to talk,” Jonathan says unsteadily.

Summary
After Walburga and Orion’s sudden and mysterious death, Sirius and Regulus inherit the family’s legacy - their titles, riches, estates. Sirius becomes the head of the house of Black, with Regulus by his side. Discontent, Bellatrix and other family members pay James and Remus to go undercover, seducing the Black Brothers to get a confession out of them regarding their parent's deaths, suspecting that there is more to the story than meets the eye. However, James and Remus find themselves in the most unusual of situations upon meeting the beautiful and elusive brothers, who make them question the true nature of Walburga and Orion's deaths, and eventually, their own sanity.

A very twisted story set in the 1970's, in which the Black Brothers inherit the Black Estate, find out about James and Remus' plans to investigate them, and play along for fun because they're chaotic and very, very morally questionable.
