Summary
"Oh my God," Mel breathes, turning to look at Frank. "That's a baby."
A weird, blob-like shape resembling a baby that will be a baby, at least. Their baby.
"Wow," he says from where he stands at her shoulder, but his voice is thick, and she looks up to find his eyes wet, glistening against the light from the screen. "Holy shit, Mel, that's our baby."
Mel grapples with her impending motherhood amidst caring for her sister, a fellowship program, and missing her own mom. Frank is the support she needs.

Summary
“Dr. Langdon, you’re a boy, you’re pretty, and you make Melly happy. Will you kiss her?”
When Becca was brought into the ER right before her deposition, Mel knew she wanted Langdon to treat him. What she didn't expect was how much Becca would tell her white knight.

Summary
Donnie has worked in the ER long enough to notice patterns.
Unfortunately for Langdon and Mel, this includes the things they think they're hiding.
Like the way Langdon's voice changes when he uses Mel's name.
Or the way Mel relaxes when Langdon walks into a room.
Sooner or later, something's got to give.
--or--
Donnie noticed Langdon and Mel have a crush on each other and decides it's time for them to get it together.Bookmarked by Catuux

Summary
“Mel,” his voice breaks her focus away from the methodical kneading of her hands. “What are we doing?”
It’s a loaded question, almost as heavy as the steam billowing around the small bathroom, the last tendrils of heat fogging up the mirror. It’s a question she isn’t prepared for, not when she doesn’t even know where to begin.
Not when she knows what he’s really asking.
“I’m washing your hair, Frank,” she whispers from her place behind him. “I thought that much was obvious.”
or, the one where mel and frank are sickeningly codependent best friends

Summary
Frank Langdon is usually the one holding the ER together when things get chaotic.
Until a trauma case knocks a gurney straight into his side.
Melissa King notices immediately and refuses to let him brush it off like he brushes off everything else. For once, Frank is the one stuck on the couch while Mel runs the exam.
The bruise isn’t serious.
Unfortunately, the feelings Frank has been hiding for months might be.
TLDR: Becca helps them stop being dumb by accident.
