Summary
A little bit of backstory in the form of a short little fic for one of my nuggets, Viktor! She was dumped in the Outskirts at a very young age and only managed to survive thanks to the efforts of one of the region's few naturally-occuring Abnormalities. Viktor considers this Abnormality her mother, so when she was ripped away from her by an extraction team with the intent of 'rehabilitating' her and using her mother in Enkephalin production, it was understandably rather traumatic.

Baseline tickets for the first game of the season are way too expensive for Nina too afford, and Vanessa just wants to protect her very platonic best friend from going broke.
