Summary
Jim just moved to Arcadia.
For many this meant a fresh start; for others a tragedy. For Jim was an exit.
You see, Jim didn’t exactly had a ‘choice’ when the Court told him to pack his bag and go inside the car.There ain’t a choice when your father, with who you’ve lived ten years, passed away and now you seem ‘forced’ to live with a mother you haven’t seen your those ten years.
But now he does.The only problem? None told him Arcadia was so weird, and that inanimate objects talked.

Or, James and Barbara divorced and James took the custody. Ten years later James dies and Jim has to go live with his mom. How different will he be from our normal Jim? Most importantly, how different will he be as a Trollhunter.

Summary
Yesterday was great.
They played games together, they talked about girls and school, and everything was an awesome sauce.
Today isn’t that great.
Toby doesn’t know what changed in Jim. Maybe his new lock of white hair is the most obvious, but his attitude? Gosh, is like if a whole new and terrible person has taken over his best friend’s body.
Jim says ‘Trust me’, and Toby wants to trust him…
The stains of blood don’t help.

Summary

Summary
Jim’s train of thoughts was suddenly cut short as Bular reached him. “Today you die, Trollhunter,” he rumbled. “Yet another Trollhunter killed on this bridge. How…pathetic. The amulet never should have chosen you.”
He raised his two swords and Jim cowered, shielding himself with his trembling arms as he prepared to meet his fate.
Bular’s blade glinted as it came down, and Jim squeezed his eyes shut—
The blades hit, crashing down with the force of a full grown Gumm-Gumm, but…they didn’t quite hit where he expected.
His shoulder and head screamed in pain simultaneously and while Jim knew he shouldn’t scream to not give the satisfaction of his pain to Bular, the sheer agony made him cry out loudly.
“Expecting the sweet release of death already, Trollhunter?“ Bular chuckled. “Oh, no. I intend to drag out your death as long as I can.”
Or, this is an AU where the fight with Bular and episode 13 went a whole lot worse because Jim had only had like two weeks training and he had never even fought anyone before he started training.
Also, because I like hurting Jim, and this seemed like a reasonable way to do it.
