Summary
A kingdom where wishes come true,
A sorcerer’s apprentice,

A Wishing Star.In the kingdom of Azhar, Asha is the apprentice to the sorcerer and King, Manus. Ever since he granted her wish to learn magic, Asha has been attempting to aid him in his quest for greater power, so he may further grant the wishes of his people. Asha believes in him and the queen firmly.
Until the King resorts to using what he promised to protect in the hope to finally achieve his goals, and Queen Anastasia does nothing, leaving Asha at a loss.
She knows the story of Wishing Stars, a faded tale from days of old. In her moment of desperation, Asha makes a wish, a wish for her to ensure a safe future for her home. And it is answered.
But by calling upon this mystical being, Asha has just achieved what Manus has been trying to for many years, and he has proved he will do anything to gain the power of the stars. And with Anastasia at his side, there is little that stands in his way of doing so.
Now the fate of Asha, the Star, and indeed all of Azhar lies in the unknown.Disclaimer that this is absolutely more an AU than a rewrite - I've taken many creative liberties with this story.
