What would River think of all she’d done up to this point? V could almost imagine the look on his face, how he might gaze down on these blood soaked hands. This merc, this paid killer, she knew nothing of peace, of letting go of grudges. Her entire life served as proof of that. The only way she knew how to survive was through bloodshed, consequences be damned.
