Belfire Stone is a druid who only wishes to gain back the life he lost. He is not a hero.
This diary is a catalogue of how he was forced to become a hero.This is sort of a fic for the DnD campaign that I play in! I've made a lot of journal entries in the perspective of my character and I thought it'd be fun to post them. I'll of course also be providing context between each entry because it's not really gonna make sense without it. Also some of the characters mentioned are not mine, they are my friend's. I will of course disclose which characters belong to who in the notes of each chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Summary
What makes someone human? Where is the line between monsters and people, and just how thin is it? These questions come to most peoples' minds at some point in their lives, but most people have the luxury of letting them fall to the wayside, completely content to ignore it. The question is just too complicated; nay, even too painful to ponder.
However... sometimes the need to answer that question cannot be ignored.
When Laios needs to start thinking about leaving behind an heir, he struggles with the very concept of finding someone to do so with. At the time, the question of ‘What makes someone human’ was as far from his mind as could be- and so were the last dregs of the winged lion. Unfortunately, that which is blithely forgotten has a way of rearing it’s ugly head.
Meanwhile, he has been struggling to protect Thistle from the consequences of his past for a year now- but it has not been easy, or even fruitful. What do you do with an ex dungeon lord that fights for numbness? Why is it that Thistle is able to fight for anything after having his desires consumed?

Summary
Many would say Vincent Charbonneau was where he wanted to be in life, being a famous, drop-dead gorgeous runway model for an equally well-know fashion house in France. And he would fully agree if it wasn't for the fact he was hopelessly in love with his boss Rody Lamoree, a talented fashion designer who seemingly had no interest of pursuing new romance for he had promised eternal loyalty to his late wife.
Vincent thought he had sealed his fate the moment he realized he had fallen for a man he couldn't have, completely unaware of what had yet to unfold before his eyes, of the fleeting and indescribable gazes they would exchange, of Rody's actions that were filled with ambiguity, and the careless whispers that perhaps should've never been uttered.
