Summary
As he makes his way back to his friends, he notices Satoru—or well, his back. It’s hard not to notice him when he’s the tallest in every room he enters. It’s also why he can’t see the look of absolute shock on Shoko’s face, blocked by Satoru’s wide frame.
It’s also why Suguru couldn’t protect himself from getting his heart shattered into a million pieces on his birthday, of all days.
“Satoru?” Suguru calls out, barely able to disguise the happiness in his voice after seeing his favourite person on his special day.
Satoru turns around and pulls him into a hug, with Suguru only barely managing to get the tray on the table before Satoru sends it crashing to the ground. He lets Satoru hug him tight before finally letting go, shaking him as he wishes him a ‘happy birthday’ with the widest grin.
“Wait, there’s one more person here to wish you!” Satoru says and before Suguru can open his mouth to voice his curiosity, Satoru moves to reveal one of the most beautiful girls he has ever seen.

“We’re getting a divorce,” Geto growls, and suddenly this all makes a whole lot of scary sense. “And by the way, I put a one hundred thousand signing bonus on the end of that, just in case.” A smile, but not really. “Welcome to the family, Itadori. My husband and I will do our very best to make sure that you love it here.”
Gojo giggles. “You said husband,” he croons, voice sappily soft, and Yuuji blinks down at the stack of papers on the table in front of him and briefly– very briefly– contemplates contemplating regret.
A failing restaurant, endless desperation, and passionate love. Best served on the rocks.

He runs away from all the horrors of sorcerer life and builds a little found family far away from everything. Now it's been years, he lives a peaceful life when the Zenins kidnap his friend's kid and Jujutsu tech seems to have a problem with his son. It really doesnt help when he sees Satoru again.
Gojo finally realizes why Suguru leaving felt like a gunshot wound to the chest, but what is he supposed to do with that information? He has the Gojo Clan and his Sorcerer Job with Jujutsu tech, it's a lot but not enough to be happy, not when he can see Suguru living such a nice life away from him. And if Suguru could kidnap kids, why cant Gojo kidnap a few? They clearly need training…
