Summary
Given the givens, things are going well. Hawks has a boyfriend (he thinks), the heroes and the League of Villains are making progress in taking down All For One for good (sort of), and the HPSC has no idea that he’s conspiring to stab them in the back with his maybe-boyfriend (at least there’s that).
Then Miruko abruptly realizes why Hawks hasn’t been allowing anyone to visit his apartment for months, and it turns out that the desire to investigate a good conspiracy isn’t restricted to just the youngest Todoroki sibling.
Also featuring: Fuyumi being the only person on the planet who can girlboss Endeavor into a midlife crisis, Shouto being far too casual about enacting vigilante justice against corrupt government institutions, Katsuki crowning himself MVP to the consensus of no one else, and Hawks thinking way too hard about the social institution of holy matrimony.

“So I’m the asshole here?” Suguru finally asks incredulously, doggedly attempting to lean even further backward as Gojo increasingly attempts to invade what limited personal space he still has. Do not try to make any further remarks that would compromise your relationship with a coworker. Do not fucking do it. It is your second day on the job. This is a coworker. Don’t fucking do it. “Pardon me, but maybe you should check a mirror every once in a while.”
“Frosted bears! Frosting!” the voice booms once more from the other end of the room. He might be hearing quiet snickering, but when he looks over, Shoko’s got as much of a bored face as she did when she first appeared with Gojo.
“You’re kinda funny!” Gojo laughs. It’s full and bright, but Suguru has to flinch to avoid any spittle as Gojo screeches and it kind of ruins the effect. “Shoko, this guy’s kinda entertaining. Which is exactly why it’s so bad that we’re gonna have to be enemies.”
