______Clint Barton was a loyal soldier in the Shield alliance's war against Hydra. When the war ended he didn't expect to be made a baron, and he especially didn't expect to become a husband. When the Council of Allies decrees that the former Winter Soldier must enter into a correctional marriage or be executed, however, Clint and Bucky take the leap. Fury tips his head. “You don’t think it will work?”
Phil shrugs. “It might.”
“But?”
Phil hesitates before saying, “But there’s a lot that could go wrong.”

Summary
Cap relaxes his hold, but he stays where he is, still looming over him. “Clint. The compound’s been breached,” Rogers whispers urgently, then finally sits back and lets go of him.
There’s another explosion, closer this time and throwing more light. He turns his head sharply and sees Bucky Barnes hovering near the door, looking… off. Clint pushes Rogers and he finally stands up so Clint can scramble out of the bed and grab some clothes. He’s wearing only boxers because it’s fucking hot in Wakanda, and he catches Barnes’ eyes flicking across his body.
Clint long ago stopped being bothered by people’s reactions to the many scars on his body – not that that many people actually see them - but that doesn’t mean he appreciates when they stare. “Like what you see?” he asks with a hard edge as he pulls on his shirt. Barnes turns his head, at least having the decency to look embarrassed for being caught staring.
Rogers looks at them both impatiently and quickly switches gears. “Clint, I need you to take Bucky. Get him out of Wakanda and somewhere safe.”
OR
Bucky and Clint fall into each other. Bad shit happens. Then it all works out in the end.

All he knows is he was ready to accept new orders, and then he was starving on the streets. One moment he's sure his handlers were leading him to cryo storage. The next he's looking up at a blonde with a purple band aid over the bridge of his nose. He has this strange sickening feeling he almost died a few hours ago. That can't be true though. His new handler is right here. The blond is implementing a new training program. Right?

“What’s a guy like you doing in a place like this?” Clint says, instead.
Barnes snorts. “Having a drink,” he says, then gives Clint another one of those appraising looks. “You a professional?” he says, after a second, and Clint is momentarily confused.
A professional what?
And then he realizes Barnes must be talking about pool, and Clint huffs a laugh. “Only when there’s money involved,” he says, smirking, and Barnes kind of nods, like that makes any sort of sense.
Then Barnes nods again, a little more firmly, and says “You got a place?”
Which is about the point that Clint realizes that he’s not meeting the Winter Soldier in a bar, he’s being picked up by the Winter Soldier in a bar and-
“Yeah,” he croaks, clears his throat, thinks wildly that he’s really fucking glad Kate has Lucky for a few days, and says “Yeah, I got a place.”
Or, how Bucky got his groove back.
(And Clint too, but it was a different sort of groove)
