Summary
Lila figures out that Marinette is Ladybug with one glance, and makes it her mission to make the girl's life miserable. This results in Marinette being involved in an unfortunate accident, in which she loses her memories from the past two years. Unable to remember any of her new classmates, Marinette has to redevelop friendships with Adrien and Alya. Things don't go quite the same as the first time around, however, and Marinette takes a special liking to Lila.
Lila uses this to her advantage and decides to try and locate Ladybug's miraculous before she can remember who she is, so that she can destroy Marinette once and for all.

Marinette wasn’t a hero like Ladybug was. She couldn’t go back in time and fix what she’d broken. But if she could possibly make amends in any way, possibly right the loneliness that she’d accidentally forced upon a girl who only ever wanted to be liked, then maybe that was the best gift she could give.
