Steve groaned, rubbing his forehead. "Why would you have a vibrating voice command for your arm, Anthony?"
Bucky choked. Peter shrunk. Nat puffed. "Because I don't want to use a keyboard mid-coitus, Steven!"
Steve rolled his eyes, "Well shut the damn thing off!"
Bucky nearly cackled, "L-language!" Peter giggled, picking at his fingers under the table.---

Summary
Peter makes a choice. He wants to claim it's for the world, but it's for him. His selfish need not to feel so alone.
He knows he can fix it. It's how he makes it through every day. He's tried going to the past, to fix it in other timelines, too many times to count. Even his extremely long lived body is beginning to age past being able to do all that needs done to fix everything that needs to be fixed. So he steps into his younger self.
Except Tony finds him early, and Peter is suddenly confronted with how he has fixed everything else, but himself. In a world made better, where does a broken Peter Parker fit?
(The answer is, as it always was, beside Tony, but that can only come with time.)

But not gray. Anything but gray.
When Peter gets a gray soulmark on his eighteenth birthday, one that he's seen a million times on the wrist of the man he loved, his whole world shatters. The weight of Tony's death already a heavy burden to bear, he's not entirely sure how he'll make it through the rest of his life without him. As the years go by, he tries to heal, but between the mark on his wrist and the echos of a video message he can't even finish in his mind, it seems like he'll never truly recover. But four years after Tony's death he makes a discovery that might just give him a chance.
The chance to change his soulmark from haunting gray to beautiful color.
