Not on purpose, but it’s not his fault he can’t reprogram his eyes to move independently. Simmons could, probably, but that’s not a topic he’s particularly enthusiastic about broaching. She would probably change her mind halfway through and add a few extra lenses or something, and enhanced vision isn’t exactly something he’s a huge fan of at the moment. Enough artificial eyes nearly blowing your fingers off can do that, and in this case “enough” means one.
