Summary
Do you ever find yourself stuck with two choices, and wonder how you wound up in this situation? How you just realized that you had wasted all the time that should've been yours to make something of yourself and reach out to the people who mattered most to you?
John Egbert faces this realization when confronted with a seemingly innocuous choice in the form of two meal options: Stay. Or Go. And he realizes just how bullshit it is; he wasted SEVEN YEARS OF HIS LIFE!! And no matter how much everyone tries to reassure him that people just drift apart, that this is just how things were going to turn out... he doesn't like what's happened to his friends.
But hey, what the fuck are Retcon powers for if not for having a Do-Over?

Summary
It is fascinating how small, seemingly inconsequential changes can have vast reaching effects if allowed to grow. Some things can change radically... others cannot be changed at all. But so long as the wheels of Fate turn as they are meant to, the details of the design they form can be... adjusted.
What, for example, would happen if a startlingly innocent Bronzeblood Troll wound up encountering a traumatized and somewhat unstable young Blueblood Troll, still trying to find a way to cope with the things she had to do in the name of survival?
This is my way of seeing how that Exploration could occur.
