Summary
Viktor never escapes the Undercity. He never finds his way to Piltover's Academy. He never takes a job with Heimerdinger and dreams of bigger things. Instead, after ten years as Singed's apprentice, he finds two lost children on the worst night of their lives and gives them a home. In many ways, this changes everything. In others, it changes nothing at all.
“No. You’re going to do something much worse than killing Silco,” Viktor tells Benzo’s ward. “He wants you dead. Out of his path, as he continues to forge forward. Instead, you’re going to survive.”
Viktor offers the boy his hand. “We are obstacles. All three of us. We’ll take care of each other."

Summary
An AU where after the break-in, Jayce is expelled from the Academy. In a desperate act to keep his dream of Hextech alive, he finds a rumored inventor in the Undercity named Viktor. They work together to help people using Hextech without the pressure of politics weighing them down until politics comes knocking down the Undercity.
Jayce has to decide if he wants to go back to Piltover or if he wants to stay and defend Zaun.
Also (spoiler alert) they fall in love along the way.

Summary
Jayce lifted Viktor’s hand to look at the engagement mark: the outline of Viktor’s own teeth below his thumb. Heedless of anyone who might have been watching, he brought Viktor’s hand to his lips and touched a kiss to the wound.
The gesture itself was quite chaste, but its placement made Viktor wonder for the first time in his life what it would feel like to have the outline of someone else’s teeth carved into his neck.

To broker peace, the kingdom of Zaun and the clans of Piltover agree to forge a mate-bond. They each expect the other to manipulate this bond to their advantage.
They do not expect their representative bondmates to actually like each other.

Summary
Amidst the war efforts against invasion by Ambessa Medarda, Jayce goes missing. He finds himself below in the locked down leftovers of Zaun, finding someone he thought long gone, accompanied by one of the last thought-to-be-dead people he would've expected.
Viktor, the unusual mage healer and leader of The Commune, unexpectedly has his past unrequited love dropped on his doorstep before him and his De-facto right hand, and he discovers those long buried emotions were not unrequited after all. However...are they enough to convince him to help in the war, when the one thing he's the most afraid of is not Noxus, or Ambessa, or the fall of Piltover; it is in fact, himself.

Summary
Friends make friends stuff all the time, and Jayce did break Viktor's cane. It'd be a nice thing to do. A cane, plus some cool tools, and Jayce will be able to know he's a good friend. He likes this plan.
(Or, Jayce makes a new cane for Viktor. He then makes some more stuff. It spirals from there very, very quickly.)
