Summary
It’s rather jarring to wake in the Halls of Healing when one does not remember how they came to be there. It’s even more jarring to wake in the Halls of Healing to learn that you have been asleep there for four years, and that during that time, your padawan has left the Order, the galaxy has broken out into war, the Jedi have become war heroes, your padawan has left you, the Sith have returned, the Republic is under attack, and Anakin Skywalker will not return your comm calls.
After Obi-Wan Kenobi wakes, he has little choice but to move on. There is a war to be fought. There are battles to be won. There is a new Sith lord named Vader who has taken an inexplicable but undeniable interest in him. Untangling the hurt and anger he feels at Anakin’s absence from his life will simply have to wait.

do not look for an explicitly happy ending in an epilogue or last chapter here- this fic Hurts and it does it well. worth it, of course, for that last sentence

Summary
Obi-Wan does not have a case of the flower disease.
But he does love Anakin far more than appropriate—far more than he ever intended to. It is a mockery of the Jedi Code, of the Order itself, the fervor for which Obi-Wan Kenobi loves Anakin Skywalker.
It is also a secret that he would quite happily take to the grave, should it come to it.
When he wakes in the middle of the night, chest spasming from a coughing fit, and looks down into his lap to find his sheets strewn with flowers and spots of blood, he thinks that perhaps it has.

Bookmarker's Notes
hanahaki is one of my fav tropes and this is one of the coolest, most nuanced, unique and interesting takes on it.
finding out that obi-wan had previously contracted hanahaki thrice is unusual but it adds a layer of realism with the way real diseases affect our bodies.
padmés involvement and hurt are also appreciated, shes not frustrating or annoying like some may accidentally write her to be, and i truly feel for her.
i was wondering what the last third or so would be about if anakin had already confessed and ive never seen shame to be a part of hanahaki but i love how it adds dimension to their relationship and above all to obi-wan -

Summary
Oh, if only Qui-Gon could see Obi-Wan now. What he must think of his padawan, so totally abandoning the tenets he tried to instill upon him and his very connection with the living Force, trading it in for pomp and procedure and mind-numbing, endless boredom as the newly appointed Senate Liaison for the Jedi Order.
Endless boredom with one very integral bright spot.
Well, technically two.
An argument could, of course, be made for three.
Or, Obi-Wan has trouble counting. But to be fair, Anakin Skywalker--full-time galactic senator and part-time public speeder commute eye-candy--isn't exactly making it easy for him.

Summary
In a galaxy where the Force has crafted soulmates for the people who live in it, there are also sacred guides that appear to guide two lost souls together to seal their soul bond with a fated kiss.
Unfortunately, the guides are also loud, feathered, and will bite you. The guiding experience is not particularly pleasant.
Anakin and Padmé's mornings both become much more exciting when they each wake up to pairs of horrible geese hell-bent on leading them to their soulmates. Obi Wan's already been kidnapped for a couple of days, so two geese manifesting in his cell isn't as big a deal.

strong contender for best work on this site. aggravating yet helpful untitled goose game inspired geese, soulmates, throuple, slightly looser jedi council, happily ever after, large quantities of humour, badass padmé .... yes yes

Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi thinks he's slowly but surely redeeming Darth Vader. The Jedi think differently, but how can he possibly entrust the Jedi with the care and keeping of Anakin Skywalker after they'd failed so erroneously before when they'd sent the child back to his mother only for Darth Sidious to kidnap him from beneath their very noses?
Meanwhile Darth Vader, who will go by Anakin if it's Obi-Wan Kenobi's voice sounding out the syllables of that long-dead name, thinks he is slowly but surely dragging the warmest Light he's ever known down to the Dark. He'll never be cold again, not if he can slowly convince Obi-Wan to shift his allegiance from the Republic and the Jedi...to him.
Vader may be right.
