WATCH THIS SPACE. After a long forced hiatus, extensive rewrites and new chapters are on the way. No ETA, but it won't be far off.
UPDATE: First chapter is revised/rewritten and has been re-uploaded. Other chapters to follow. Work continues apace on the real chapter 6.
UPDATE 2: Second chapter is revised/rewritten and has been re-uploaded. Revision of the third chapter is underway, and chapter 6 is coming together well. Unfortunately the original plot outline for the rest of the story is lost to coma brain, but a new one is being formed from notes and drabbles that should follow roughly the same beats. It might even turn out to be better than the one I originally had planned.
