When Ciri runs away because Jaskier can't help but be a loudmouth and Yennefer realizes Jaskier's secret, his worst fears are confirmed. He doesn't belong here.
Too bad Jaskier is stuck at Kaer Morhen with a desperate Geralt, a far-too-tender Yennefer, and not a single lute string to save him.

part 1:
Logan lifted his head to watch Wade walk into the room like he hadn’t just done the electric slide with a toaster and plop into the chair next to Logan.
“Penny for your thoughts, peanut?”
“Don’t fucking call me that,” Logan rumbled. “I mean it, Wade.”
“You don’t actually hate it, do you? This is just our thing. I call you a cutesy nickname and you react like it’s the worst thing you’ve ever been called. You think about punching me. I think about that passionate kiss we shared, more often than I should or is healthy. Then we move on and do it all over again.”
Logan leaned back in his chair and sighed. He really, really, really, really wanted a fucking drink.xxx
Logan knew Wade made light of many things—of most things—but there was something seriously wrong about coming back to Wade’s apartment that he rented with Al (though she made it clear she made most of the payments) to find him committing suicide in new and creative ways.
“Jesus fucking Christ!” Logan shouted the first time he’d come back from the store just in time to witness Wade blowing his brains out right in the living room.
For a moment he’d just stood in the doorway, looking left and right, taking a step towards Wade before he thought better of it. He brushed his palm across his forehead as a frantic rush of adrenaline shot through his system.
“What the—fuck?”xxx
“I’m not…fucking good at any of this,” Logan said tiredly. He sat up and faced Wade, who jumped a little, like he hadn’t expected it. “I don’t know what the fuck to say to you. I just need you…to stop.”
“Oh, I really meant it when I said I didn’t mean for you to be around,” Wade said, sounding genuinely regretful. “You don’t have to worry about cleaning up from now on. Promise.”
Logan chuckled and leaned his elbow on the table, still looking at Wade. He seemed uncomfortable with the scrutiny.
“Is that why you do it here? Not somewhere off in an alley where no one will really be around? Is it a cry for help?” Logan leaned forward. “It’s not right to keep hurting yourself like this.”
“I don’t remember asking for your opinion,” Wade said, mirroring Logan’s position with a smile. “So you can fuck off with this little ‘I give a shit’ routine bullshit. I do it here because I don’t want to deal with the fucking cops.”
Logan reared back. “’Bullshit’? You think I don’t care that you’re finding creative ways to cut your throat every week? You think I couldn’t walk out of here right now and never look back?”part 2:
Logan came to with his claws buried in Wade’s abdomen.
He blinked rapidly, panting, struggling to focus his vision on the pattern print of Wade’s shirt. Blood began to seep out of the wound around his knuckles when he moved, and he stared at it in confusion, the dream still clinging to his subconscious.
“Morning, peanut,” Wade said. “Could you maybe pull your claws out of my side? I kinda have to pee, and you are very close to stabbing my bladder. If we get any more blood or piss on the mattress, we are not going be able to save it.”
“Fuck,” Logan swore.
Or: A second chance at life was never in the cards for Logan. Now that he has it, living it is easier said than done.part 3:
“Wade, I need you,” Logan said, his chest starting to heave, “to run.”
“What, like a marathon? Now is not the time for altruism, sweetie. We have a lab to escape from. And I’m not really big on running if I can help it."
“Run,” Logan said. He took a step forward. Wade glanced behind him at the room he had just left, which he noticed did not have any exits. He slid his gun out of its holster.
“Get the fuck awa—” Logan paused to swallow, his words turning gravelly, like it was difficult for him to speak “—away from me.” He flexed his fingers. “Or I am going to fucking kill you.”
Or: After Logan rejoins the X-Men, Wade gets whisked away on his first solo mission with Logan. It should be quick—easy—like taking candy from an armless baby. And it is, up until it isn’t.❤️👌

part 1:
Wade froze for a moment at the contact and then moved his hips slightly up and down, like he was making sure he was feeling it correctly. The friction made Logan see red, pulling his claws out of Wade’s back and growling like an animal.
“I see little Logan’s finally joined us,” Wade said, in that annoying as shit sing-songy voice he liked to use. “He’s a little late to the party, but I’m not surprised given the Whiskey Cla-”
Whatever stupid thing Wade was about to say was cut off by a guttural moan as Logan grabbed Wade’s mask, pulled it up just enough to expose the back of his neck, and then bit down hard. He opened his mouth wide, getting a full mouthful of Wade’s skin between his teeth and the sweet taste of iron on his tongue.
Logan’s eyes rolled into the back of his head as he moved his body to fully pin Wade down, stabbing each of his claws into Wade’s arms to keep him still and pushing his erection firmly against the swell of Wade’s ass.
“Holy fucking shit tits!”

Logan snapped his head to the side to look at her, words catching in his throat. “He. . . He told you?” Logan finally forced out, words tinted with anger. Suddenly, his guilt felt a little less heavy and he toyed briefly with the idea of going back to the apartment and stabbing Wade again for good measure.
“No, you just did,” Althea smirked, tapping on her glasses. “I may be be blind, but I’d have to be deaf and dumb also to miss the way you idiots have been acting like teenagers who fucked in the bathroom on prom night and never talked about it ever again.”
“We didn’t-”
“You can go ahead and lie to yourself all you want, but you can’t lie to me. Besides, Wade isn’t as quiet as he thinks he is when you aren’t in the apartment and he starts banging one out, makes me want to stab out my eardrums. And lately it’s been nothing but your name and a bunch of fucking details I could have gone happily to my grave without hearing.”

After a particularly embarrassing incident for Wade, he tries to run away and embark on a solo adventure to another universe. But, plans change when Logan bullies his way into the adventure and they are both forced to meet a mysterious man who takes an interest in Wade.(Wade needs to save Patch from dying and gets into a smutty relationship triangle in the process.)

"It’s okay, you can stay in the car. I’ll just run in real quick,” Wade said with a shrug.
It was dark by the time Wade parked and jumped out of the seat, leaving Logan still buckled in the passenger seat. He stared at Wade running into the store and had the awful thought that he could just leave.
It was his plan. Steal a car. Sleep in the backseat until he found a motel. It was a dick move, but Logan had stolen worse, like Scott’s motorcycle. It had the added bonus of the groceries they bought for Logan, and he could just return the car when he got enough money to afford a motel. Or not. He could drive off and never look back. Leave before things got worse.
Logan unbuckled his seat belt. Ten minutes passed. Fifteen. Logan stayed in the passenger seat and wondered what was taking Wade so long. After twenty minutes of staring out the window and silently cursing himself, Wade jogged out with a small grocery bag in hand.
“Hey,” Wade said breathlessly as he opened the car door. “You’re here.”
Logan’s expression tightened slightly. Wade sounded surprised.❤️👌

Logan isn’t sure what he wants to say, but she interrupts him before he can figure it out.
“You’re my family now,” she says fiercely. She finally lifts her head from his arm, glaring at him. “Don’t you dare tell me otherwise.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Logan manages to choke out.
“You should also tell Wade,” she says, just as he’s thinking they’re done talking for the night.
His heartbeat picks up again and he knows she can hear it.
“What do you mean?” he tries to deflect, but she’s as stubborn as he is.
“You should tell him you like him.”
She says it so plainly, as though it’s a fact, and not something Logan has been trying to push down deep in his chest and ignore.❤️👌

Occasionally he heard Logan arguing with Althea about how he was acting towards Wade, but Logan didn't listen, didn't care. She was annoyed at having to listen to Wade's endless complaining and she was tired of waking up to Logan's loud entrances in the middle of the night, as well as his nightly screaming. But Logan just didn't care. He spent every day drunk, exactly the way Wade found him in the first place.
He should never have kissed him.
Hell, he shouldn't have dragged him to that fucking dinner party to begin with.❤️

part 1:
He wasn’t in love with the guy. Some wires had gotten crossed, is all. Adrenaline, fear, elation, anger, pain… all of it had coalesced into a miasma of emotions that swirled around in his chest in the aftermath of destroying the time-ripper and had latched on to the only other solid thing around. That thing just happened to be Wade Wilson.
He’d been in enough fucked up situations to know that near death experiences tended to mess with the brain for a bit. They made people do reckless shit like confess their secrets, fuck people they shouldn’t, even declare their sudden and undying love.
It was chemical and it was psychological. It wasn’t real.
The feeling would pass.
He just needed some time.

Logan realizes he might've made a terrible mistake agreeing to go home with the guy he's maybe sorta kinda fallen in love with. Especially since said guy literally just saved the entire multiverse to get back together with his girl.
Didn't he?part 2:
The thing about spending so much time around Wade was that ninety percent of the time you could ignore one hundred percent of what he was saying, and you wouldn’t miss a thing.
But every now and then, something sticks. It would worm its way into Logan’s brain and make a home for itself, awakening things he didn’t even realize lay dormant and causing mini existential crises on a near weekly basis.
It was never obvious in the moment. Just a word or phrase that would stick out and then bam! Cue the incessant rumination and restructuring of his brain chemistry.
The latest one being the word housespouse.
It was a stupid word.
It wasn’t even technically a real word.
But it was stuck. Ratting around and ringing in his ears every time he caught himself doing anything remotely domestic (which happened to be a lot more than he’d realized).part 3:
It wasn’t immediate. The first month or so, Logan went to jobsites, did his work, and came home without a second thought. Then one day Wade made some offhand comment about how the shitty bathroom floor tiles absorbed blood like a fucking sponge and it was nearly impossible to scrub out and suddenly he was noticing different types of tiles and grout and piecing together the ideal floor materials for two guys with a healing factor and a penchant for coming home blood soaked.
From then on it was like the floodgates had opened and he couldn’t stop himself from taking mental notes at every job he worked. He wasn’t actually planning on buying something. He was just looking.
For the future.
DISTANT future.
Except…
The TVA had given him a truly disgusting amount of money he wasn’t doing anything with and real estate was a decent investment. He didn’t have to do anything with it if he didn’t want to.
It’s not like he was going to find anything he liked anyway.

Summary
Logan was truly thankful for the life he had been given by Wade Wilson. He finally had a place to call home, a place that felt like one. For the first time in a long time, people treated him as an equal, nobody here knew of his infamy back home, they didn't know him as the man who killed the X-Men, and they didn't treat him like 'the worst Wolverine'. This really should've brought him peace, however, no amount of kindness and respect could quell the thoughts that crept in at night. The guilt and the pain and the flashbacks that tortured him night after night. Unable to weather the storm alone, Logan reluctantly accepts the mercenary's offer to try and help him through this, unknowingly signing himself up for a lot of sleepless nights for entirely different reasons, but at least they were much nicer to think about.

Izzy has always been able to manage his condition just fine. Smoker’s cough is a common ailment to men of their profession and Izzy indulges in the occasional offered pipe enough to keep up the ruse. The fact that Edward smokes like a chimney is almost enough to keep the facade by itself.
If the crew notices Izzy coughing a little harder in the winter, they chalk it up to cold weather and think nothing else of it.
When he growls and spits over the side of the ship, they hurry to their tasks a little quicker, wondering whose negligence caught the first mate’s ire.
When he’s violently sick in a bad storm, they whisper the moniker Izzy the Spewer amongst themselves and silently thank their patron stars for strong, solid stomachs.
Izzy doesn’t pay it any more heed than he has to. He’s still the most feared sword in the Caribbean, as infamous a pirate as Blackbeard himself. His reputation precedes and protects him.
A reputation he won't keep for long if the true nature of his affliction became widely known.~~~
When Izzy loses to Stede in the duel, it's not just his sword that breaks.
