Alastor is still struggling to rationalise a plan to get Vox to remember him, their relationship, and get him back. Opting to pretend everything is fine and that he isn’t still heartbroken for now. Until he figures out what to do.
Fortunately, Alastor has eyes on the inside to ensure Vox was safe, at the very least.Vox is… not coping well with being out of the spotlight and being relegated to behind the scenes tasks. Charlie and Vaggi find a half-angel half-human baby. Feeling his parental instincts going wild and having knowledge of half-angels, Lucifer offers to take care of her. It all goes well, too well, until they are attacked.
Injured and powers draining, Lucifer summons a portal to take him and the baby somewhere safe by Charlie's command.
Only, the portal leaves him in 1930, powerless and floundering. Oh, and past Alastor is here! How nice. Gosh, Lucifer hates that guy.

Alastor fell to Hell after having killed horrible alphas, and he knew that he would have to hide.Until he couldn't. Until they found out, and then the only safe place became the only other person who knew about him and had respected him anyway.
Vox. The one alpha Alastor could trust not to treat him differently, partly because the alpha was terrified of him, and partly because the alpha had been trying to court him without anyone noticing.

Inspired by the comic by @BigTerrence on TikTok: "What If Alastor Woke Up In A World Where He and Vox Were Lovers?". I won't be using the comic shot for shot, this is inspired by it but not trying to recreate it in fic form.

Alastor was in the middle of executing his master plan when everything changed. He had only shut his eyes for a moment -- trying to rest and recover... but when he opened his eyes, instead of being tied to his favorite spinning chair he found himself in a warm, plush bed with shark themed sheets. At first, he figured Vox had taken pity and laid him there, but as his eyes wandered around the room things were starting to make less and less sense. When had Vox had the time to take several pictures of them together? Happy pictures? And, more importantly, when had Vox put a ring on his finger?Ah, well, the photo of them at an alter on the nightstand answers that question.

What happens when Canon!Alastor has swapped bodies with Married!Alastor? How will their Voxs react? What will they learn about themselves, and what else could they possibly fuck up?
