A Vulcan named Stork works at a Terran adoption agency. Parents always request that he be the one to deliver their child to them.
“"The benefits a human child would bring to your family are irrelevant, Sarek." He says. "Miss Burnham is a deeply traumatised young girl. One of her parents was murdered in front of her, the other is missing, likely dead. The silence that you seem to prefer in children is not a sign of strength."
"That was not the reason I chose Burnham-" Sarek begins, but Stork cuts him off.
"Our approach to these problems is integral. You can either be a catalyst, or a solution."”In which Stork does not deliver a child, but instead, advice- and a warning.
