Look, he didn't intend to go on 2 separate dates with 2 different people. It just sort of happened and he couldn't get out of it. It's not his fault he didn't realize it was so close to valentine's day, or that they were even asking him out. Or that these terrible sickening feelings he had weren't what "crushes" really feel like. Or that lovesickness isn't so much a literal thing, as it is supposed to be "romantic" and not a visceral physical reaction.

(Ninjago criminals au)
When you hit rock bottom the only way to go is up.
This is what happens when everything goes wrong before the beginning. Wu went missing before he could find the ninja to be. They know nothing of elemental powers, or dragons, or destiny, only how to survive.
So instead of becoming the famous protectors of the realms, they became ninjagos most infamous criminals. (Then Ronin finds them all and they become ninjagos reluctant protectors.) But first they will tear it all to the ground for what it did to them.

The Ninjago crime au is basically wu disappeared before he got the ninja together and garmadon took over ninjago, and because of that all the ninja never learn about their powers or become ninja so they all become various criminals, who were all eventually separately hired to go after an artifact that Ronin was also after, and they formed a team to do crime stuff together because the world is fucked might as well do something about it.- Words:
