"On a field mission with Master Sol? What a wonderful opportunity." Yord nodded and took a step back as if to go. "We'll have to catch up once you return."
"No, I mean…" She struggled to get the words out enough that he stopped. "I'm leaving the Order."
"For how long?" He still didn't understand.
"Permanently." Or until the Jedi asked her to come back.

Summary
Callie is a very quiet baby.
Most new parents would be thrilled to have a baby that barely ever cries or wakes up in the dead of night, and Jeff is impossibly happy. He has a wife and a daughter and night after night of uninterrupted sleep. First time parents dream of exactly that.
But it scares the shit out of Shauna. It makes her think of her other baby. The one who never cried at all.
And it means that when Shauna hears a baby crying in the dead of night, she's immediately pulled from sleep and out of bed, ignoring Jeff's snoring in favour of grabbing her robe and walking towards the sound of cries.
Except Callie is sleeping soundly.
And there's still a baby crying.
TW: This fic centres around WB and Jackie, as ghosts, and features a lot of death.

Summary
They call Narcan a miracle drug. A well-timed dose can save a life, but it can't erase the memory of her body crumbling, of kneeling over her and desperately praying to a long-dead God, of watching the ambulance drive away and take all your light with it.
Or: Nat forgives easily. Misty doesn't.
