Zoey jumps with a scream but she doesn’t react as strongly as Mira who fully shoves herself into Zoey’s arms and nearly makes the younger girl collapse and drop to the hard wood. Zoey only staggers and swears, her legs shaking.

Summary
Based on a tumblr post about someone pain-swapping Chronic Pain Robert with someone else. It caught my eye. :3

“I can take much more pain than you ever could, bitch!” Prism raised an eyebrow at Flambae as he stomped up to Robert like a child. “I’ve got fuckin’ powers, I’m naturally stronger, faster, and better than you, Mecha-bitch.”
Robert could feel the heat rolling off of Flambae’s body, drying his skin out where it touched him. He doesn’t quit with his rep as he turned, keeping count in his head as his deadpan expression locked onto the fiery superhuman.
“Wanna bet?” Flambae and Prism both perk up a little, Prism pulling her phone out and typing rapidly. Robert swapped the weight and started working on the other arm, ignoring the way his shoulder protested with a straight face.

Summary

As today is the day she gets her superpowers after the most traumatic event of her life sets her story in the trajectory of violence and danger. Taylor Hebert becomes the protagonist of a gritty, angsty superhero web series.
“Hold on. I didn’t sign up for that.”
Taylor expresses her displeasure with the fate she was given. Would Taylor like to edit the summary page?
“I can just do that?” She realizes that she can change the genre of her story to- “Romantic comedy. O-or, sm- fuck. Anything but gritty angst.”
And so begins Taylor’s romantic escapades.
“Wait, why are all of the pairings with girls?” She asks, ignorantly. “Hold on, wait a second. Why is Sophia fucking Hess there?!”
And thus, the story begins.
