Yi Dao had never seen the legendary Tian Ying smile.
Not in script, not in heroic pictures, nor in writing or literary accounts. He'd seen him in life, once before, certain of that tight-lipped scowl, somewhere before it all fell into hell.
Of course - that didn't mean he wasn't damn well going to try.

Tian Ying escapes from Southern Tang with Jiang Yan's help. After separating from Jiang, he and Yi Dao (AKA Killerblade) cross paths in unfavourable circumstances. Only dark whispers speak of one another's reputation, and as it turns out, they are so fucking wrong about each other.

Without a word, a warm hand grips your wrist - at first, you think that you're just delirious on the cliff of pleasure, and maybe you've just leaked on your hand - but no. Reality snaps you back to where you were, and you whip your head down to a large, calloused hand over your own.
Out of the once-asleep man's mouth comes a grumbling, "Think I wouldn't notice?"
You curse, almost freezing, before you realise Yi Dao is pressed into your back, insistent on you remembering he's there. "It's—damn, I didn't want to wake you—"
"I'm awake now." A growl of a threat. You curl in on yourself and duck your head, not wanting to turn back and reveal your flushed features. His breathy voices purrs into your ear, almost a whisper, "Didn't think you were the kind of man to jerk off so close to someone else."

To Daniil's shock, Artemy instantly blushed redder than the bloody twyre, all the way from the bridge of his nose across his cheeks to the tip of his ears. His eyes widened, and he glanced between the underwhelming nosegay and Daniil's face repeatedly, raising his hand to cover his mouth.
"Wh—Wow, oynon, this is... I didn't expect this from you," Artemy stammered, his tone low and almost raspy.
"Yes, well. I've learned at least some things about the Steppe, haven't I?" Daniil preened, shooting him a modest grin.
"Ah, I suppose you have, oynon... th—thank you, truly."

Daniil gifts Artemy herbs without realizing that he's propositioning him according to Kin tradition. Culture shock shenanigans ensue.
