Draculaura, like Twyla, moved to the human world by the request of the leaders of the monster world to show humans that they have changed.
Lagoona isn't all there.
New York is still an unfriendly place toward monsters. Three ghouls are just trying to live, and maybe together they can find peace.

Summary
It’s the 1880s, and a stern bounty hunter turned ranch owner is living quietly far outside the nearest city, that is until the sheep in her pasture begin mysteriously dying, all the blood sucked out from their cold bodies. But just as the slaughtering begins, it stops. Two months go by no disruption, and then the pattern repeats. The next time, the cowgirl is ready. She hides out in a barn, her eyes glued to the sheep. Hours pass, until there is a slight disruption in the dark. The light hanging from the barn door gently tremours, casting waves of light to illuminate the area for a few seconds at a time. Just as Clawdeen is about to take a step forward to get a better look, the light just manages to catch a small figure creeping closer to the sheep. The woman is as pale as a ghost, her gaunt complexion giving the image of an anaemic. But there is no time to focus on her hauntingly beautiful face as in the next second, she steps out of the light and the only noise that can be heard is the halted cry of a sheep, followed by the disgusting sounds of slurping.
