Summary
Norm Spellman is in over his head when he gets Tsuma, the sister of fallen war hero Tsu'tey, pregnant. His best friend Jake, however, is more than happy about this arrangement:
“Congratulations, Norm. She is beautiful. I know she will be afkew [mighty],” Jake smiles, placing his free hand on his mate's belly. “And I’m sure her future husband will be intimidated by her strength when he meets her.”
After he had found out he himself was about to become a father, Jake had joked about betrothing their future children but Neytiri soon became adamant about the idea.
Norm also lets out a tiny laugh, not being able to tear his eyes away from his daughter. “I’m sure they will love each other.”
Little did the three of them know that their children would grow up not being able to stand each other.

This story follows Norm's daughter and her life with the Suli family during the Avatar 2: Way of Water movie. This can be read as a reader-insert, but there will be a placeholder name of Aniri'kota/Ani (look familiar? hint, hint)
Characters are aged up by about 3/4 years and I do not own the Avatar storyline or characters.

Summary
After years of watching Pandora pass by in orbit, Veyra thought she was prepared for the life awaiting her on its surface.
She spent her childhood staring out large quartz-glass windows, eyes wide with wonder as the bright flares of spacecraft passed by, transporting humans between interstellar stations and the vibrant, alien moon.
They warned her of its dangers— the deceptive beauty of the luminous forests and the fearsome creatures that lived there. They told her about the Na’vi and how fiercely they fought against the RDA’s occupation. She had frowned at that, thinking ‘Of course they fight us, it’s their home.' At the time, Veyra didn’t understand how significant that fleeting thought was.
Despite everything she learned about Pandora from textbooks and video logs, nothing could have prepared her for what she found when she finally reached its surface many years later— a family, a home, and a way back to herself.

‘When I am older, I will make you my Mate.’ It sounded so silly and yet so matter-of-fact, like it was already set and they had no other choice but walk toward that one future, that she didn’t doubt him for a second.
‘Even if I’m pink?’
‘I do not care.’
‘But can we?’
‘We will anyway. That way, we will always stay together. It is a promise.’ The young Na’vi offered her one of his rare smiles where he squeezed his eyes and wrinkled his nose, ending up looking like one of those Earth animals she had once saw a picture of.
‘Hug promise?’ River hugged him by the shoulders, giggling gleefully when she saw his violent blush. There he was, her little Neteyam!
He lightly squeezed her back after a moment of hesitation, eyes downcast and sheepish. ‘Hug promise.’
