Summary
Frank has just turned 16 which means he is moving from the orphanage to the halfway house. He also has to move schools. He never really had friends at his old school so is determined to make a fresh start. But of course, the jocks can spot a fag a mile away. As Frank accepts the fact that the dorm boys have already established their group and refuse to let the latecomer in and puts up with the constant bullying. What happens when a new kid joins him at the halfway house equally as weird?

Summary
Gerard started working at the comic book store when he was sixteen. Seeing as he practically spent all his time there anyway, the income was just a bonus. And, being the awkward, dorky kind of guy he was, he never really felt compelled to get another job - or a 'real' job, as his mother put it - post-high school. So, at the age of twenty-five, Gerard found himself still working there, and not seeing any need to change a thing. Of course, his salary was barely enough to survive off, so he made commission art, collaboration comic books and other odds and ends in order to afford his apartment. He didn't really care about the large amount of his time that was occupied by painting and watercolours, because it meant he didn't have to go outside, or, god forbid, socialize. He was satisfied with the amount of friends he had - Mikey, Ray and Ryan were all he needed. Or so he thought.
Then, Gerard met Frank. And suddenly, he needed that man more than he had ever needed anyone.

“Oh my god, you’re Maomao!”
“Yes, I did just say that.”
“No, no,” Angel Man is tripping over his words, he’s so excited now, “Maomao, it’s me, Jinshi.”
Maomao just blinks at him.
“Who?”
He scoffs. “What do you mean, who? How could you have forgotten your favorite neighbor?”
Favorite neighbor?
Why does that phrase sound familiar? She scans his face, taking in the regal nose, the purple hair, the sharp chin.
Suddenly, unbittingly, the image of a smiling little boy peeking out from between a bunch of sunflowers comes to her mind.
Favorite neighbor….
“Oh!”
She remembers now. Of course she remembers. She remembers everyone who leaves.
